Edinburgh lawyer appointed Honorary President


Donald MacAulay, a retired Edinburgh lawyer is appointed Honorary President of the Clan MacAulay Association in recognition of his support and contribution to the clan over the past twelve years. Donald, a lifelong member acted as the clan association’s legal adviser for many years. Donald was born and brought up in Edinburgh where he studied law and became a partner in a leading company of lawyers. His family originate from Benbecula where his Great Great Grandfather was the local sheriff. Donald lives in Edinburgh with his wife Eileen. Speaking after his appointment he said “ It is a real honour to be appointed Honorary President and I look forward to supporting the clan association for many years to come.”
