Paul MacAulay

Hilbre High School, West Kirby named a new building extension after former pupil Paul MacAulay who tragically died in an accident last year. Paul, known as “Fesh” and a relative of Clan Chief Hector MacAulay was just 19yrs old when he slipped and fell from the roof of a building in Liverpool last September while at a party with his friends. In his memory, Hilbre High School dedicated his name to a new building extension. The opening ceremony was held on 25th June 2012 and attended by many family and friends. Paul’s father Ian MacAulay a long time member of the Clan MacAulay Association said “ It was nice to know that the school thought so much of Paul that they decided to honour his name in this way. It is a tremendous gesture and a lasting memorial.”
