The Inishowen Gateway Hotel in Donegal is located on the Inishowen peninsula, North East Donegal, an area of outstanding natural beauty and the hidden treasure of Donegal’s stunning landscape. Located only a short 15-minute drive from Derry and 30 minutes from Letterkenny, our Hotel in Donegal offers an ideal base to explore the surrounding area and the Wild Atlantic Way route.
MacAulay Group Rates are as follows:
- Double €153/night midweek and €198/night weekends
- Triple rooms (based on 3 adults sharing) €198/night midweek and €243/night weekends
- Single room (double room) €143/night midweek and €188/night weekends
- Children sharing with two adults are priced at €20 each per night. Hotel rates will include a hot breakfast, served from 7:15 am – 10 am (Mon-Fri) and 8 am – 11 am (Sat-Sun); you must book your breakfast time in advance.
Room types include (number of available rooms and room capacity, as at 1 Jul 2025, indicated in parentheses):
- Family (4) [2 adults with 2 children]
- Double (20) [2 adults or 1 adult/1 child]
- Twin (16) [3 adults or 2 adults/1 child, etc.]
Guest Room Reservations Policy:
You can contact the hotel to change or amend your booking at any time but please allow up to 48 hours before the date to avoid a charge. For cancellations there is a 24 hour cancellation period which means you must contact the hotel to cancel 24 hrs before you are due to arrive. Failure to do so means you will be charged the first night accommodation fee. A deposit is generally not requested. In the event a deposit is requested then it will be non-refundable and non-transferable.
