Happy Robbie Burns Day!
Today marks the annual celebration of famed Scottish poet, Robert Burns. The 18th century poet is best known for composing many poems, including Auld Lang Syne, Tam O’Shanter and Ae Fond Kiss.
Every year the anniversary of his birth is celebrated by Scots around the world with Scottish traditions such as a “Burns Supper” of haggis, neeps and tatties, featuring a recital of traditional song and of course, a dram or two of whisky.
