A MacAulay Hero … Sister Catherine McAuley

One of the most prominent MacAulays in Ireland (she’s on their money!) and in the United States is the Irish-born Sister Catherine McAuley.  She founded the Sisters of Mercy and by extension, Mercy Health, the 5^th largest healthcare system in the United States.  Mercy Health is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.
