Keith is a traditional storyteller (seanchaí), multi-published author and folklorist from Donegal. His most recent book ‘Finding Fairy Mysteries in Donegal’ has been described by reviewers as “original”, “magical” and “compelling”. The material is based on a four year investigative odyssey, combining interviews with over fifty contributors. The book is also an attempt to understand who and what the fairies might really be, why fairy belief still endures, and its timeless relevance to future generations.
Keith has pioneered a new genre of historically related folklore, based on modern research and immersive enquiry, to breathe new life into some of our age-old beliefs, mysteries and legends.
In August 2025 he performed as an author and seanchaí at the Milwaukee Irish Fest in the U.S. In September 2025 he curated the ‘Wild Tales Along the Borderlands’ project to popular local acclaim in schools, storytelling gatherings and storytelling bus tours.
At the gathering Saturday morning prepare to be entertained and enchanted, astonished and perhaps even spooked by his repertoire of yarns, ancient tales and ghost stories.
